Pie and walnut cake is a dessert only good to prepare in the middle of autumn, when market stalls abound in fruit and seasonal produce.
1 cup of raisins
2 cups of flour
1 1/2 old dogs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
250 ml of oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 pears, cleaned and cut into cubes
1 cup of slightly shattered walnuts
Method of preparation
Beat the eggs with the sugar with the mixer, until they become fluffy. Gradually add the vanilla extract and oil while the mixer is on. Separately, place a tablespoon of flour over the raisins in the cup and mix well with it.
It is a trick that will prevent the fruit from falling to the bottom of the mold during baking. Separately, mix the dry ingredients in another bowl: flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon and cloves. Then pour them gradually into the egg composition and incorporate them with a wooden spoon. Add the pears, walnuts and raisins and mix gently into the dough.
Grease a cake tray (either check or rectangular) with oil and pour the composition into it. Bake the cake in the oven, 45-60 minutes, at 177 degrees Celsius.
