3,500 seats booked two weeks before the start of the KINOdiseea Film Festival

One third of the seats available at the International Children's Film Festival, KINOdiseea, is reserved! KINOdiseea, the first and only children's film festival organized in Romania after 1989, is in its fifth edition and will take place this year on November 15-20, in Bucharest, at Cinema Studio and Cinema Eforie.

Ten inspirational, educational and entertaining films, nine in competition and one outside the official selection, five in retrospect, several film workshops for the little ones, a masked ball and discussions on films with international guests. This is what KINOdiseea looks like, the event that wants to bring the small audience closer to the film and to lay a cornerstone for the development of the film culture in Romania.

In addition to the eight productions already announced from the competition, laureates at major film festivals such as Berlin and Toronto, the projection of the ninth film, It's a horse on the balcony is confirmed! / A Horse on the balcony, in which we follow the story of a boy for 10 years he discovers a horse in the balcony of a neighbor's apartment and embarks on an adventure to save him.
Everyone who wants to revisit childhood movies and relive the feelings of joyful age with story characters are expected at the festival. KINOdiseea brings Pinocchio, Little Mermaid and Pocahontas back to the big screen in a retrospective not to be missed. The screenings of the 20,000 leagues under the sea and the Little Print complete the Childhood Screenings Retrospective.

KINOdiseea is a member of the European Children's Film Association (ECFA) and is also a partner of the most important international children's film festivals in Europe, such as the Kristiansand International Children's Film Festival (Norway), in its 16th edition, Zlin Film Festival (Czech Republic), at the 53rd edition, International Young Audience Film Festival Ale Kino (Poland), at the edition with number 30 and Ciné-Jeune de l'Aisne, edition 31.

International Film Festival for Children, Kinodiseea, is organized by Metropolis Cultural Association, with the support of Apa Nova, the National Center of Cinematography and the Union of Filmmakers in Romania.
