On December 5th, from 6.30 pm, Serendipity Tea is hosting the opening of the exhibition "Autistic children, small artists!" The pictures are made by children with autism and other developmental disorders within the Association Together Step by Step and will remain exposed at Serendipity Tea until the end of December.
Buying a painting means a donation to children with autism and other disorders! The money raised will be allocated to the continuation of the psycho-educational program "Together at school", which is addressed to children with special needs who attend the school and need additional support in the course and homework.
The purpose of the program is to prevent school dropout and cognitive development and behavioral modeling of children with special needs so that they have an autonomous and productive adult life.
The paintings are made within the art-therapy framework, through several techniques: watercolor, textile, buttons, cardboard and others.
"We are delighted that we are able to exhibit the paintings of our little artists, so that they can see as many people as they can do special things for children with autism. We hope that our action will succeed because the little ones were very diligent and made very beautiful paintings. We think that during this period people are more open to their less fortunate peers and will want to donate for children with disabilities, while enjoying a truly special Christmas gift for themselves or for themselves. dear ones. We encourage all those who will serve in December a flavored tea at the Serendipity teapot to think of children with special needs who have made the pictures and who need support to have a better life, "said Nicoleta Burlacu, President of the Association Together Step by Step.
