Known for "Panique au village", the directors Stéphane Aubier and Vincent Patar together with Benjamin Renner last year launched the animation based on the beloved children's book series by writer Gabrielle Vincent, with a script signed by the French writer Daniel Pennac, a script that suits to multiple interpretations, for all ages. The result is a 2D film that will anoint old-school fans with a visual faithful to the style of the book series illustrations and with adorable characters that appear drawn in watercolor.

Célestine is a mouse from the orphanage, where she constantly learns to be afraid of bears, the number one enemy of her species, but gets to become friends with one of them, the musician Ernest - a gentle giant with the voice of actor Lambert Wilson (Martix Reloaded, Of Gods and Men). In the era of 3D movies, Anim'est proposes an animation with a classic charm, a story loved by young filmmakers, and enjoyed by adult viewers who will surely remember the cartoons and illustrated books of childhood.
