The cherries entrusted are absolutely delicious. They are ideal for the preparation of many cakes, but you can serve them as such, with vanilla ice cream.

juice from 2 lemons
2 vanilla sticks
Method of preparation
Wash the cherries well and then remove the seeds. Do not remove the sap that remains after removing the seeds. In a saucepan place alternate layers of cherries, sugar and lemon juice. Stir gently and let stand for 3 to 4 hours. Stir from time to time.
Then cook the saucepan over a low heat until the syrup is well mixed. Gather from time to time the foam that forms.
At the end add vanilla sticks and mix gently. Before extinguishing the fire, gather all the foam formed. Then allow the cherries to cool slightly.
Pour the mixture into sterilized jars, thread the lids well and cover with beds. Leave it until the next day.
