Failure to comply with these provisions entails the contraventional liability, which is sanctioned with a fine between 40 lei and 80 new lei, without the possibility of paying, within 48 hours, half of the minimum amount stipulated.
INEP has launched an appeal to citizens, to periodically check their validity term for identity documents, to avoid unpleasant situations where they may become contravening the provisions of the law. According to the new legislation, the person who has found an identity document, no matter who is the holder, is obliged to submit it or send it, within 24 hours, to the nearest police station or to the nearest community public service. records of persons.
The person who is hosting another person, uninterruptedly, for a period of more than 30 days, has the obligation to announce the police or the public community service of record of the persons from the place where the building is located. The person living at a different address than the domicile, in the interest of the service or for tourist purposes, is exempted from this obligation.
