Pandispan with citrus fruits

Pandispan with citrus fruits is extremely aromatic and can be served near a large cup of tea.

Preparation time

50 minutes




5 eggs

200 flour

1/2 envelope baking powder

200 g old

150 g butter

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Orange peel

lemon peel

2 orange

1 salt powder

Method of preparation

Break the eggs, then mix them with the butter until you get a foamy composition. Add sugar and flour mixed with baking powder. Add cinnamon, citrus peel and a pinch of salt.

Line a tray with baking paper, pour the dough, and above it lay slices of orange cut into cubes.

Give the pandispan in the oven, over medium heat, about 45 minutes.

Allow the pandispan to cool in the pan, then serve it plain or powdered with sugar.


You can replace oranges with other citrus fruits, such as tangerines or clementines.
