On the occasion of the International Children's Day, the National Opera Theater "Ion Dacian" will participate on June 2, 2012 at the event "The Cismigiul Children", organized by ArCuB. The team "Grow through Art!" He will be expecting the little ones at two creativity workshops, inviting children to interactive games, music and acting competitions, as well as painting and origami. Workshops "Grow through Art!" will take place on the Island of Bucharest.
The "Children's Cismigiul" event is organized annually by ArCuB - the Center for Cultural Projects of the Bucharest City Hall. For 10 hours, children are expected to attend various activities, from shows with mums, jugglers, live statues and magicians, to workshops, games and contests, which will take place in all areas of the park. The children will be able to build dolls, they will learn how to make Origami and they will be able to model and draw alongside plastic artists.

Games and Contests Workshop - Little Artists

The workshop is coordinated by Mioara Ifrim, soloist and actress of the National Opera Theater "Ion Dacian" and imaginatively combines the basic elements of performing arts - acting, song, musical interpretation and mime. The meeting is conceived in the form of a contest between two teams, which will, in turn, go through several fun and creative tests: musical performance in an improvised orchestra, dexterity and skill, mime and dictation. The activities are designed to encourage children to use their imagination and develop their social skills, through team play and interaction.
Dibace Hand Workshop: Painting and Origami

At the painting workshop and Origami, children will explore the world of color, playing with brushes, tempera colors and watercolors. Moreover, they will be able to learn about the Origami tradition (from Japanese, "folded paper") and they will make special paper coriums and the most beautiful flowers. The workshop aims to develop the dexterity of children and their artistic sense.
The project "Grow through Art!" organized by the National Theater of Operetta "Ion Dacian" is addressed to the young and very young audiences, to support the artistic education and to facilitate the access of children to various creative activities, personal development, as well as to the entertainment world. "Grow through Art" includes creative workshops for children, on various topics, covering the main artistic branches: plastic arts - painting, modeling, paper-market, origami, various DIY workshops - and performing arts - ballet, choir, acting, animation theater.
