5 natural treatments for nails

Natural nail treatments are the quickest solutions by which you can keep your impeccable manicure without the help of the professionals. Natural ingredients, such as egg yolk or honey, can do wonders in treating brittle nails, which exfoliate easily.

Here's how simple you can prepare your own, at home, true magic nail strengthening potions!

Treatment for nails with argan oil

Become popular in recent years and in our country, after Hollywood stars began to integrate it into the daily beauty ritual, argan oil is an excellent ally of nail health.

Rich in essential nutrients, argan oil provides the vitamins, minerals and antioxidants needed to maintain a flawless manicure. If you are dealing with broken or soft nails, argan oil treatment helps them regain their ideal shape, restoring their natural structure and repairing damaged areas.

Used on a regular basis, argan oil helps the nails grow faster, naturally, and keeps them healthy at all times.

Mix one tablespoon of argan oil with lemon juice in the same amount. Allow your nails to remain immersed in this treatment for 15 minutes, then rinse with warm water (without any soap) and wipe them with a paper towel to dry them.

This will soften your cuticles and leave your nails soft and shiny.

Treatment for nails with egg and honey

For this intensely nourishing mask you need an egg yolk, a teaspoon of honey, a teaspoon of water and, optionally, a few drops of lavender essential oil. Mix all the ingredients, apply the resulting paste directly on the nails and let it act for 10 minutes.

Rinse with warm water and a moisturizing soap, then gently wipe your fingers with a paper towel. Egg yolk contains a large amount of protein, while honey has anti-inflammatory and antifungal properties.

Vitamin treatment for nails

If your nails are very dry (often due to acetone) and brittle, they need intense vitamin treatment. You can make it from 100 ml of fresh lemon juice, 50 ml of olive oil and 100 ml of honey. Mix the ingredients well (add a little warm water if needed), apply the mask on the entire surface of the nails and allow it to act for about 15 minutes.

Use this treatment whenever you have the opportunity (preferably twice a week) to get the expected results as quickly as possible.

Nail hardening treatment

Brittle nails, which exfoliate, need an effective hardening treatment. Mix 250 ml of water with a large spoon of salt and 4-5 drops of iodine.

Soak your fingers in this solution for a quarter of an hour, rinse and immediately apply an intensely moisturizing cream. Use this treatment at least once a week.

Nail treatment with apple vinegar

Mix one tablespoon of olive oil (it has an intensely moisturizing effect) with one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. Leave your nails submerged in this solution for 10 minutes, then rinse.

Repeat the treatment every evening for a week. Your nails will regenerate and grow faster!
